SUFI NRITYA

This is my very first step towards bringing Sufism into Madhubani Art.

It feels as if whatever work I have produced so far was to build the foundation on which someday I could begin to express the essence of spiritualism through my art.

This work is the expression of my inner reflections, impressions, observations and emotional experiences.

My attempt here has been to capture the message of the great Sufi saint Rumi on canvas. This is Sufi Dance, the show of the victory of enlightenment over our inner darkness.
